The story behind the '17 Pagani Huayra Roadster
The '17 Pagani Huayra Roadster brings raw mechanical beauty to your collection in a striking open-top configuration. Released during 2023 as part of the HW Roadsters theme, this model captures the essence of high-end Italian engineering without the roof. Designer Ryu Asada crafted a detailed representation that fits perfectly into the core Mainline series. This version features an unpainted ZAMAC body which gives it a unique metallic silver look rather than a standard glossy finish. With its distinctive gold wheels and clear windows, it stands out on any track or shelf.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast car is built with a plastic base and features a solid metal ZAMAC body that has not been painted over. This raw metal construction creates a textured silver appearance that differs from standard colored releases. The interior components are molded in black to match the hard top storage behind the seats. Clear windows allow you to see into the cabin while gold 5SP wheels provide a sharp contrast against the dark tires and metallic body.
Questions about the '17 Pagani Huayra Roadster
Is this Hot Wheels Pagani Huayra Roadster rare?+
This car is not considered extremely rare since it belongs to the standard Mainline assortment released in 2023. It was widely available at retail stores and online shops when new, meaning most collectors can still find individual units without paying premium prices compared to limited edition releases.
What does ZAMAC mean for this car?+
ZAMAC refers to a specific type of zinc alloy used to make the body shell. When left unpainted like on this model, it retains its natural raw metal look with slight texture variations across the surface instead of having a smooth glossy enamel coat applied during manufacturing.
Who designed the '17 Pagani Huayra Roadster casting?+
Ryu Asada is credited as the designer for this specific Hot Wheels model. He worked to capture the complex aerodynamic lines and aggressive styling cues found on real-world hypercars while ensuring the vehicle works well at a 1/64 scale size.
