The story behind the Porsche 959
The Porsche 959 from 2023 stands as a true masterpiece for serious diecast enthusiasts. Designed by Brendon Vetuskey under SKU HNL18, this RLC Exclusive release captures the raw power and iconic silhouette of the legendary rally car. Unlike standard retail models found in toy stores, this piece is part of the Rock Leroy Collection series. It features a stunning Spectraflame true black finish that shimmers with depth. The 1/64 scale metal body highlights intricate details like the massive rear wing and aggressive fender flares. This car represents a high point in modern Hot Wheels craftsmanship.
Materials, colors and value
This model boasts a fully diecast metal construction typical of premium releases. It comes wrapped in Spectraflame true black paint which gives it an unmatched metallic sheen. The interior details are striking with bright red elements visible through the tinted smoke windows. These color choices pay homage to the original race-winning livery while adding unique flair. Because this is a limited RLC exclusive, production numbers were very low compared to mainline cars. Collectors often view pieces like this as top-tier additions due to their rarity and superior build quality.
