The story behind the Cad Bane
The 2024 Star Wars series brings a unique twist with character-themed vehicles that capture the spirit of iconic villains. The Cad Bane casting is one such example from this entertainment line, designed by Sonny Fisher to look like something straight out of a space bounty hunter's garage. This model features an aggressive stance and futuristic styling inspired by the show's aesthetic. With SKU HTR98, it stands out as a specialized collectible for fans who love both diecast toys and the galaxy far, far away. The design merges bold colors with practical plastic construction to create a durable yet detailed miniature.
Materials, colors and value
This specific Cad Bane model is built at a standard 1/64 scale using lightweight plastic materials rather than metal. It sports a striking two-tone paint scheme featuring a brown body and gray base components, accented by red tinted windows that add depth to the cockpit area. The interior details are kept simple in gray plastic to match the chassis. Because these character cars appeal heavily to theme park fans and series completers, they often hold strong value within collections even if they lack premium metal construction.
Questions about the Cad Bane
Is the Cad Bane Hot Wheels car made of metal?+
No, this specific casting is manufactured entirely from plastic. While many mainline cars feature diecast metal bodies, character vehicles often use molded plastic to achieve complex shapes and lower production costs while keeping them affordable for younger collectors.
How rare is the 2024 Cad Bane Star Wars car?+
As part of a standard entertainment series release, it is generally considered common compared to Treasure Hunts. However, themed cars can sometimes have smaller production runs than regular vehicles, so finding one in perfect condition with original packaging might become slightly harder over time.
What does the SKU HTR98 tell collectors?+
The code HTR98 serves as a unique identifier for this specific casting and color combination. Collectors use SKUs to track exact variants since names can be reused or changed slightly between years. It helps ensure you are looking at the correct version when building your set.
