The story behind the Bone Shaker
The Bone Shaker returns for another round in 2024 as part of the Mystery Models Series 2. This wild ride was designed by Larry Wood under the SKU HVW77 and brings that classic custom hot rod energy collectors love so much. With its skull-themed hood ornament, exposed engine block with a jagged grill, and oversized rear wheels, this car looks ready to tear up any track or shelf display you put it on. It’s got that rugged, old-school vibe mixed with modern flair, especially in the way it balances bold graphics with clean lines. The Mystery Models line always delivers surprises, and Bone Shaker is no exception.
Materials, colors and value
Built at 1/64 scale with a plastic base material, this version of Bone Shaker comes in Silver or Dark Silver body colors, paired with Chrome interior details for extra shine. It rides on a Black base and features eye-catching yellow wheels that stand out from the rest. Because it's part of a limited run Mystery Models set, finding all color variants can be a bit tricky. While not extremely rare like Treasure Hunts, these cars are still collected closely due to their unique designs and short production windows.
