The story behind the EXOTIQUE
The Exotique arrives in 2026 as part of Mystery Models Series 2, bringing a sleek futuristic look to collectors who enjoy surprise releases. Designed by Alvin Chan, this low-slung concept car features sharp lines and smooth curves that capture the spirit of tomorrow’s speed machines. Its standout feature is the translucent yellow window paired with vibrant blue paint options like Satin Blue or Light Blue depending on the variant found in packs. With its plastic construction and playful aesthetic, Exotique fits right into Hot Wheels’ tradition of blending bold design with accessible fun.
Materials, colors and value
This model comes built entirely from durable plastic at a standard 1/64 scale, making it perfect for display or play without adding much weight to your collection. The base appears in Silver across all versions while the body shows up in multiple shades including Blue, Light Blue and Satin Blue with matching Yellow windows. Some variants include silver interior detailing that adds subtle contrast under close inspection.
Questions about the EXOTIQUE
Is Exotique a rare Hot Wheels car?+
Exotique is part of the Mystery Models line which means it was released in limited quantities and can be harder to find than regular Mainline models.
How do I know if my Exotique has Satin Blue paint?+
Look closely at how light reflects off the surface. Satin finishes have a slightly duller sheen compared to glossy versions which appear more shiny and vibrant under bright lights.
Can I collect all Exotique color variants?+
Yes but it may take time since each pack contains only one version. Traders often swap duplicates online or at local shows to complete their sets of Blue Light Blue and Satin Blue releases.
