The story behind the FORD MODEL A CUSTOM '31
This custom build turns a classic Ford into a rugged dirt track racer ready for off-road adventures. Released in 2025 as part of the HW DIRT series, this Mainline car captures the spirit of grassroots motorsports with its lowered stance and large rear tires. Designer Craig Callum brought his signature style to the project, adding weathering details that make it look like a true veteran of many muddy races. The green paint scheme features realistic dirt marks and racing stripes on the hood, giving this vintage machine plenty of character. Collectors who enjoy hot rods with an outdoor theme will find this 1/64 scale model stands out nicely in any group shot.
Materials, colors and value
The body is made from plastic to keep costs low while capturing the intricate shape of a custom coupe. You can spot clear windows and detailed decals like the number 43 on the door. The color palette mixes different shades of green with brown weathering effects across the side panels. Black accents appear on the interior, chassis base, and large rubber tires designed for traction. Since this is a standard Mainline release found in blind packs or blister cards, it remains an accessible pick up. Most copies stay within normal retail price ranges once sold out.
