The story behind the Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32)
The Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32) is a legendary sports coupe that earned massive fame in racing circles and pop culture during its original production run. This specific diecast casting celebrates the brand by appearing as part of the Mattel 80th Anniversary Themed 8-Pack released in 2025. It captures the aggressive styling of the real vehicle with a large rear spoiler, wide fender flares, and distinct rectangular headlights. The model comes dressed in a vibrant red finish to match the celebratory spirit of the anniversary theme. Collectors often look for these themed multi-packs because they offer unique colorways or special decals that are not found on standard mainline releases.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast casting features a durable plastic body painted in bright red with clear see-through windows. The interior is molded in black, and the chassis base matches this dark tone to ground the vehicle visually. It sits at the traditional Hot Wheels scale of 1/64 size. Silver five-spoke wheels complete the sporty look and add contrast against the bold exterior paint job. Because it appears as part of a themed multi-pack set rather than a standalone exclusive release, individual units are generally quite affordable for fans who want to build out their collections on a budget.
