The story behind the '91 Nissan Sentra SE-R
This special edition '91 Nissan Sentra SE-R made its debut in 2026 as part of a very exclusive series reserved for attendees of Hot Wheels events. Specifically released during the Mexico convention, this model celebrates JDM culture and Japanese performance history. Designed by Mark Jones under SKU JCP39, it is not found on store shelves but only distributed at that specific gathering. Convention exclusives like this are highly prized because they represent a unique moment in time for fans who attended. The car features distinct racing graphics including the HW MX 25 marking on its side. Its vibrant pink and white two-tone design stands out as a tribute to the original sports coupe, making it a standout piece for anyone building a dedicated collection of rare releases.
Materials, colors and value
Built with a metal body base, this model features high quality detailing that collectors appreciate. It is available in a single distinct color combination consisting of a pink and white two-tone paint scheme paired with black interior accents. The scale remains the standard 1/64 size used for most collectible diecast vehicles to ensure it fits perfectly on display shelves alongside other models. While convention exclusives do not always have official production numbers, their limited distribution naturally makes them desirable targets. This specific release offers a solid example of how Hot Wheels honors car culture through unique color treatments and dedicated event releases.
