The story behind the McLaren 720S
The McLaren 720S brings a high-performance silhouette into the Fast & Furious world with its own distinct character. Released in 2026 as part of the Premium Mix 4 series, this model appeals to collectors who want more than standard Mainline details. Designed by Ryu Asada and identified by SKU JHW80, it sits at the intersection of movie fandom and supercar engineering. The Fast & Furious assortment often features vehicles that feel connected to the franchise's high-speed aesthetic without being direct replicas from a specific film. Because this is a Premium mix car, shoppers should expect higher build quality compared to everyday releases. It captures the sleek lines of the real 720S while offering the durability and display appeal that Hot Wheels fans look for in their shelves.
Materials, colors and value
Constructed with a metal base, this diecast model provides the solid weight associated with premium Hot Wheels products. The color scheme features a body painted in Metalflake Saros, which gives the car a textured gray appearance under light. Black and matte finishes are used on the base components to create contrast against the flake paint. Windows come in smoke or tinted variations depending on the specific unit, adding depth to the cabin view where black interior details are visible. At 1/64 scale, it is compact enough for desk displays but detailed enough for close inspection. Collectors often seek these Premium cars because they tend to hold their value better than common plastic body models due to the added material quality and finish.
Questions about the McLaren 720S

This car is part of the Premium Mix, which generally has lower production numbers than standard Mainline cars. However, it is not marked as a Treasure Hunt or Chase variant. It is considered a sought-after collector item due to its premium status and specific series placement rather than extreme scarcity.
What scale is the 2026 McLaren 720S Hot Wheels car?+
The model is built at 1/64 scale. This is the standard size for most modern Hot Wheels vehicles, making it easy to fit in small display cases or carry around without taking up too much space on a shelf.
