The story behind the '83 Chevy Silverado
This unique '83 Chevy Silverado stands out as a special piece from the NFT Virtual Garage series released in 2023. It is part of the Series Completion Cars collection designed by Jun Imai for fans who finished that specific digital challenge. The model captures the classic square body truck style with custom touches like lowered stance and gold wheels. This Spectraflame purple paint job gives it a premium look similar to Super Treasure Hunts, making it highly desirable among collectors. It is not found in standard retail boxes but serves as a reward for virtual garage participants.
Materials, colors and value
The casting features a metal base with a striking Spectraflame purple finish that glimmers under light. The design includes white racing stripes along the sides and gold chrome wheels wrapped in low profile tires to mimic a lowered suspension look. The interior is finished in black, while the windows feature smoke tinted glass for added detail. This 1/64 scale truck carries SKU HPW90 and represents a high end variant due to its exclusive distribution method.
Questions about the '83 Chevy Silverado
Where can I buy this NFT Silverado?+
This specific car was distributed as part of the Virtual Garage Series Completion rewards in 2023. It is not available through standard retail channels like Walmart or Target today. You will likely need to check secondary marketplaces, collector forums or auction sites where other enthusiasts sell their physical reward items.
Is this a Treasure Hunt model?+
It shares many traits with Super Treasure Hunts such as the Spectraflame paint finish and special release status. However it was officially released through the NFT Virtual Garage program rather than being inserted randomly into mainline packs. It is considered an exclusive variant by most collectors.
What does ZAMAC mean for this base?+
ZAMAC refers to a zinc alloy material often used in premium diecast models. For this truck it means the chassis and body shell are made of metal rather than plastic which adds weight and durability. It also provides excellent detail sharpness compared to cheaper plastic alternatives.
