The story behind the Audi 90 quattro
This Hot Wheels Audi 90 quattro from 2024 brings back a legendary motorsport silhouette for collectors who love racing history. Designed by Fraser Campbell, this model is part of the HW Turbo series found in the standard Mainline assortment. The casting features an aggressive wide body kit and a large rear spoiler that captures the spirit of Group A touring car racing from decades ago. You will find detailed livery elements printed on the side panels to give it authentic track-day vibes. Since this is a regular mass-produced release, it fits right into everyday shopping hunts without being a limited edition. Fans of turbo-charged muscle and classic European sports sedans usually appreciate how this piece bridges old-school racing heritage with modern diecast collecting.
Materials, colors and value
The Audi 90 quattro sits at the standard 1/64 scale used for most Hot Wheels cars, making it easy to display alongside your other favorites. The body material is plastic rather than metal, which helps keep costs down while still offering sharp molded details like door handles and window lines. Collectors typically see this car in blue color variations with clear windows and a black base interior. The specific SKU for tracking purposes is HTC64. Because it belongs to the widely available Mainline series, prices tend to stay affordable for casual buyers or people just starting their collection today.
