The story behind the CUSTOM '72 CHEVY LUV
The CUSTOM '72 CHEVY LUV brings a distinctively rugged look to the Drag Racers assortment in 2026. This Mainline release features a classic pickup body with prominent Summit Racing Equipment decals and a custom hood setup that suggests serious speed. Designed by Ryu Asada, this model captures the raw energy of drag racing through its stance and paint scheme. While it is part of the standard retail lineup rather than a limited edition chase or Treasure Hunt, its specific theme makes it a standout choice for fans of modified trucks. The combination of vintage styling with modern diecast details creates a unique piece that appeals to both casual shoppers and dedicated collectors looking to complete their 2026 series.
Materials, colors and value
Constructed from plastic, this 1/64 scale model showcases a striking color palette centered on white base components and various shades of blue. As a common Mainline car from 2026, its value remains accessible for most hobbyists. You can typically find these models at standard retail prices unless they become hard to locate after release.
