The story behind the FORD MUSTANG GTD
The Ford Mustang GTD brings modern racing ambition to your track in 2025 as part of the special Mustang 60th series. This Mainline release celebrates six decades of pony car excellence by showcasing a sleek, aerodynamic design meant for high-speed circuits rather than just city streets. While regular collectors will appreciate its aggressive styling and massive rear wing, this model stands out because it captures the future direction of Ford performance vehicles in miniature form. It is an accessible way to own a piece of automotive history that looks completely contemporary.
Materials, colors and value
This specific casting features a striking metallic gray finish on both the main body panels and the large aerodynamic base. The clear see-through windows allow you to view the black interior details inside the cabin. Constructed primarily from plastic at a standard 1/64 scale, it includes gold-colored wheels that provide a sharp contrast against the silver paint scheme. As a standard Mainline car with SKU HYW19, it is generally affordable and easy to find in retail stores or online marketplaces for most hobbyists.
