The story behind the '71 MUSTANG FUNNY CAR
This '71 Mustang Funny Car captures the raw energy of drag racing history in a tiny package. Released as part of the mainline series in 2025, it belongs to the special Mustang 60th anniversary collection celebrating six decades of Ford muscle. The model features an aggressive stance with its body raised high off the ground on gold wheels. It sports bold red paint and classic white racing stripes that run along the side panels. Collectors love this piece for its nostalgic design which honors the original street machine turned track star.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast replica is built at a standard scale of 1/64 using plastic materials typical for mainline releases. The exterior features a vibrant red body paired with silver accents and clear see-through windows to show off detailed interiors. Gold wheels provide a striking contrast against the black tires. While it remains an affordable addition to most collections, unique paint schemes or limited series tags can occasionally increase its value over time.
Questions about the '71 MUSTANG FUNNY CAR
Is this car part of a special Mustang anniversary collection?+
Yes, this model is included in the Mustang 60th series which celebrates six decades since Ford first introduced the iconic pony car. These releases often feature historic designs that pay homage to famous versions from past years.
How do I identify if my purchase matches the official color scheme?+
Look for a bright red body with white stripes running along the sides and gold wheels on black tires. The base underneath should be silver while windows remain transparent to see interior details clearly.
Will this specific release hold value better than regular mainline cars?+
As a standard Mainline item from 2025, it generally holds steady retail prices unless found in sealed boxes or as part of larger unopened cases. Anniversary editions sometimes attract more interest but usually stay within normal market rates.
