The story behind the 2020 FORD MUSTANG SHELBY GT500
The Ford Mustang holds a special place in Hot Wheels history as one of their most iconic vehicles. This specific model celebrates that legacy by appearing in the Mustang 60th series during its 2025 release year. It captures the aggressive and powerful look of the real-life Shelby GT500 performance coupe. As part of the Mainline assortment, this car is designed to be an accessible yet exciting addition for any enthusiast who enjoys American muscle cars. The design features a bold orange paint job that really makes it stand out on the shelf or in your display case.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast model comes with SKU JBB16 and uses a plastic body material typical of standard Mainline releases. It is cast at the popular 1/64 scale, which means it fits perfectly alongside other cars in your collection. The exterior features a vibrant orange color scheme paired with black accents on the base and interior details for contrast. Because this car belongs to the regular retail line rather than a limited run series like Treasure Hunts or Chases, its value is usually defined by how much collectors want that specific Mustang design.
