Hot Wheels Super Treasure Hunts
Super Treasure Hunts (STH) are the holy grail of Hot Wheels collecting. Hidden at a rate of roughly 1 per case, these ultra-rare variants feature premium spectraflame paint, real rider wheels and opening features. Only 183 models exist across all years. Find every single one here.
What makes a Super Treasure Hunt?
A Super Treasure Hunt is the rarest version of a mainline car: spectraflame paint that shifts in the light, real rider wheels with rubber tires and the flame logo protected behind a tiny shield symbol. Only a small handful ship in each case run, so finding one on the pegs is a genuine event.
Each mainline series hides 15 Super Treasure Hunts. They share their casting with a regular Treasure Hunt release, but the finish and wheels set them apart at first glance.
Because of the tiny production runs, STH values hold up well. Carded examples in mint condition regularly trade well above mainline price, and early years command serious money. Each model page here shows live market prices and a collector value estimate.
